The Annual Tagisan ng Talino (Local Competition) of STI College Muñoz EDSA will be once again set on December 13,14 and 19, 2012 at the Covered Court, computer and HRM laboratories of the college.

The said local competition will be held to search for the new champions of the various academic competitions such as INTO PROGRAMMING (programming competition), THINK QUEST (quiz bee), STAND UP AND DELIVER (impromptu speech), ESSAY DOES IT! (essay writing), ALL IN PLACE (table setting with menu card preparation), CHEF XPRESS (cooking), and WORTH THE WHISK (cake decorating).

Tagisan ng Talino (TNT) is an annual academic competition designed to further student development. It is held at three levels: the Local, Regional and National levels. The Local Level competitions are conducted at the school while Regional Level competitions are held at an identified school from among the “cluster” of STI schools. The National Level competition is held at a single venue specified by the Network Events Fund Committee. Champions at the Local Level vie for the Regional Level. Consequently, Champions of the Regional Level automatically advance to the National Level.

Winners in the local competitions will vie for the championships in the Regional level of the competitions together with other delegates from Caloocan, Cubao, Fairview, Meycauayan, Quezon Avenue, Recto, Taft, and the host school, Novaliches on February 2013. So STI’ers, the healthy competitions begin!
