STI Muñoz-EDSA’s Basketball Varsity
Last February 5, 2017 (Sunday), STI College Muñoz-EDSA’s Basketball Varsity showcased their skills for the first time as they brought home the bacon against their competitor, STI College Bacoor at STI College Cubao, with a score of 79-53.
The training of the Varsity Team started in January 2017 with their coach, a former PE coach and the current General Education (GE) Head, Coach Ronnel R. Romero, and their outside trainer, a former captain ball of a QCAA (Public Cluster) team, and one of the Mythical Five during their time, Coach Marco Miguel P. Asa. The members of the varsity were selected via a try-out held also in January.

Congratulations to our varsity and to their coaches. Thank you for making us proud. We hope you keep your heads up and your feet on the ground. There are more games to come and we will continue rooting for and supporting you. Our special thanks also goes to the coaches and staff who watched the game in support of our varsity: Mr. Argel Barrientos (PE Coach), Ms. Roselle Marcos (PE Coach), Ms. Maricar Bugtong (IT Coach), and Mr. Gervis Lamsen (GSSO Staff).
